climbing and adventure programs is coming to Georges Vanier! This week, February 22-26th, students will have a chance to participate in various physical educational activities run by Junglesport. Their programs have been designed for all Elementary school grades and are board approved.
Junglesport sets up its climbing and challenge course structure in our school gymnasium and two qualified Junglesport instructors guide the students through a range of climbing and ropes course activities. Junglesport supplies all the safety equipment required for all activities and each student is provided with a helmet and where appropriate, a harness. All Junglesport activities follow strict safety rules.
Some of the activities on offer are: Rock Climbing; Bouldering; Low Ropes; Vertical Challenges; Obstacle Courses; Cable Ride and Team Challenges. All of the activities take place on the Junglesport structure in the safety and security of the school gymnasium.
Students will have the opportunity to try different activities, learn new skills, achieve success and increase self-awareness. To find out more information about Junglesport please visit their website www.junglesport.ca or facebook.com/JungleSport.
1. Please print a copy of the attached Consent Form, sign and return the form to your child’s teacher. Download a copy of the Consent Form.
2. Only JUNGLESPORT INC. Consent Forms will be accepted.
If you are unable to download a copy of the Consent Form, a form will be sent home on Monday to be signed and returned to your child’s teacher.
